A birth doula is a trained, non-medical support person who provides physical, emotional, and educational support before, during, and after labor. As your doula, I help you prepare for birth with personalized prenatal visits, support you and your partner through labor with hands-on comfort measures, advocate for your birth preferences with your care team, and debrief with you postpartum.

Think of me as your birth flight attendant. I'll guide you through your options, help you communicate your needs, and guide you on your journey to parenthood! 

A midwife is a licensed medical professional who monitors you and your baby's health and can deliver your baby.

A birth doula is a non-medical support person focused entirely on your emotional, physical, and informational needs during labor.

We work alongside your midwife or OB,  not instead of them. As your doula, I don't deliver babies or provide medical care. What I do is make sure you feel calm, informed, and supported every step of the way, and that your birth preferences are heard by your care team. Think of your midwife or OB as your medical expert and your doula as your personal advocate and guide.

Yes! All of my services are available virtually, no matter where you are in the world. I offer virtual 1:1 doula services, online lactation consultations via telehealth, and self-paced online classes for birth prep, breastfeeding, and postpartum.

This makes me a great fit for military families, families who move frequently, or anyone who wants expert support without geographic limits.

Absolutely!  I strongly encourage it! My classes and doula services are built for couples, not just the birthing person. Your partner learns comfort measures, how to advocate for and with you, what to expect at each stage of labor, and how to support you postpartum.

A prepared partner makes a huge difference in the birth room and the weeks after baby arrives.

A lactation counselor is a trained professional who provides evidence-based breastfeeding education and support.

I am certified through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP) and have supported 150+ families through their breastfeeding journeys.

A lactation consultant (IBCLC) holds a higher-level clinical credential. Both can provide valuable support.  I specialize in prenatal education, early breastfeeding prep, and troubleshooting common challenges like latch, milk supply, and pumping.

The earlier the better. Ideally in your first or second trimester. This gives us time to build a relationship, complete prenatal visits, and make sure you feel fully prepared well before your due date. That said, I work with families at all stages of pregnancy, so even if you're in your third trimester, reach out and let's see how I can support you! 

That's completely okay,  and honestly, one of the most common things I hear. My virtual Lactation 101 class and lactation consults are judgment-free. Understanding how breastfeeding works, what a good latch looks like, and how milk supply develops helps you make informed choices whether you end up exclusively breastfeeding, combination feeding, or formula feeding. Knowledge gives you options, not obligations!!
