ABOUT KYNDRICK.

Certified Doula & Lactation Counselor

Work with me in Fort Rucker, Dothan, & Enterprise, AL, or Virtually!

BELIEF #1

Birth feels scary because of all the awful things you've been told that could happen.

You fear being talked into decisions you don't understand, in a room where your partner doesn't know what to do besides stand there. Preparation isn't about controlling every outcome;  it's about knowing your options well enough that no matter what happens, you're choosing it, not enduring it.

BELIEF #2

Advocacy doesn't require a hostile birthing environment.
You shouldn't have to become someone else's idea of "difficult" just to be heard. Real advocacy is calm, clear, and learnable with the right language, the right questions, asked at the right moment. You can be respected and easy to work with. Those aren't opposites.

BELIEF #3

Your partner is a teammate, not a bystander. Most birth preparations train one person and hope the other figures it out in the room. That's not preparation — that's a gap. When both of you know your roles, your options, and how to support each other, you walk in as a team. Not a patient and a spectator.

I'M KYNDRICK

I am a born & raised Colorado gal, eldest daughter, avid traveler, rescue dog mom, & craft beer enthusiast currently residing in Enterprise, AL (military life, am I right?)

My work focuses on a simple, powerful belief: birth can be an incredibly transformative and powerful moment... when you're not being bullied into all the things that could happen. I'm here to help you face your fears, learn how to be the driver of your own birthing experience, and walk into the labor room ready to throw a birth-day party!

Let me filter out the noise and help you and your partner feel ready for all the directions birth can go. You are about to become a mother; it's time you were treated with the respect and support that you deserve.

MY STORY

I thought having to birth a baby was the worst thing a woman could go through... to the point I was convinced I didn't want children.  In 2021, my beautiful, L&D nurse sister invited me to her birth, and that's when everything changed. I saw firsthand (even in a highly medical environment) that we have convinced women this moment is meant to feel overwhelming and terrifying... but left out the part where this can be one of the most powerful and badass moments of your life.

Since then, I've made it my mission to change this narrative and teach families how to advocate for themselves, know their options, and (dare I say?), enjoy the birthing experience.

I've supported families across three U.S. states and in Tanzania, gaining a global perspective on what it means to stand beside someone during one of life's most transformative experiences (see a few photos below).

I offer both virtual, hospital & home birth support and caring for both local and military families here in the Wiregrass area (Fort Rucker/Enterprise/Dothan, Alabama). As a TRICARE provider and military spouse, I understand the unique challenges that military life can bring to growing a family.

Whether it’s through childbirth education, comfort measures, birth bag packing, or lactation support, my approach is all about helping you feel ready — even for the unknowns.

A few thing that make my care different:

  • Advanced Doula Training in Tanzania, Berlin, & Mexico
  • Over 150+ families supported across the US and Africa

“Kyndrick provided exceptional prenatal support and education that truly prepared me for labor and postpartum life. Even when things didn’t go exactly as planned, the tools and resources she shared made all the difference. Postpartum, she went above and beyond with lactation support and genuine care for both me and my baby. I felt confident, informed, and supported every step of the way.”

"I’ve never had a doula before and it’s something I’ve always wanted. With my last baby being #4, I wanted natural all the way. Kyndrick took me on at 35 wks preg, stayed by my side and made sure I reached my goal (I DID)! She was nothing short of supportive , funny, educational, and advocated the whole way. She reminds you that regardless the outcome, you’re a super woman. The process is hard and draining, but Kyndrick is the light you can follow along the way!"
